Refund Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026. Simple terms for Pro and Team subscriptions.

1. Free plan

File Guru's core tool library is free and requires no payment, so there's nothing to refund on the Free plan.

2. Pro & Team subscriptions

Pro ($6/month) and Team ($18/month) are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel at any time from your account page — your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you already paid for, then won't renew. We don't offer prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period.

3. Exceptions

If you were charged in error (e.g. a duplicate charge, or a charge after you'd already canceled), contact us at mrklashksa@gmail.com within 30 days and we'll investigate and refund where appropriate.

4. How to cancel

Log in, go to My Account, and select "Manage billing." This opens Stripe's secure billing portal, where you can cancel your subscription or update your payment method directly.
