White space around each image. Worth setting if the PDF will be printed or bound — most home printers cannot print closer than about 5 mm to the paper edge, so an edge-to-edge image loses a strip on every side. Not available with “Fit to image”, where the page is the image.
“Match each image” gives every page the orientation of the picture on it, so a mixed set produces a document that turns as you scroll. Forcing one orientation keeps every page the same way up, which is usually what you want for printing. Not available with “Fit to image”.
Images are stored inside the PDF as JPEG, and this decides how large the finished file is. 92% is close to visually lossless; below about 60% you start to see blocking around text and edges.
