Convert only some pages Join lines into flowing paragraphs

A PDF stores text one printed line at a time, so by default every line becomes its own paragraph in Word and the text will not re-wrap when you edit it. This stitches each paragraph back together, repairs words broken across a line break, and removes the empty paragraphs in between. Best on ordinary prose — leave it off for poetry, code, forms and tables, where the line breaks are part of the content.

Your PDFs are read and converted entirely on your device — one file or a hundred, nothing is ever uploaded.

Note: this extracts the text content of each PDF into paragraphs (with page breaks preserved) — it's built for reflowing and re-editing text, not for pixel-perfect layout, columns, or tables. If you want the text to genuinely re-wrap as you edit it, turn on “Join lines into flowing paragraphs” under Advanced options. Scanned or image-only PDFs have no embedded text to extract; for those, try PDF to JPG first.
