This quality setting applies to every image in the batch.
Advanced options
WebP is typically 25–35% smaller than JPEG at the same visual quality, and every current browser can open it. PNG keeps every pixel exactly but ignores the quality slider, so it is only worth choosing for flat graphics, screenshots and logos — on a photograph it will usually come out larger than the original.
pixels
Scales anything bigger down so its longest side is at most this many pixels, keeping the aspect ratio. On a modern phone photo this saves far more than the quality slider ever can. Images already smaller than this are left at their own size — nothing is ever enlarged.
Compressed entirely on your device using the browser's canvas engine — one image or a hundred, nothing is ever uploaded.
